CRACK! BANG! POW! Lightning is one of the most dangerous things in the world. Lightning is dangerous because it has many volts and it can kill you. Lightning kills 1,000 people a year. Some kids and adults die. 1,000 people are a lot of people a year especially in Europe and the United States. Lightning is attracted to metal and if you have a piece of metal in your hand say bye bye because lightning is faster then you can run. You should not have metal in your hand while there is a lightning storm. A car is a safe place to be in a lightning storm. You have to get to the closes shelter you can find like you can hide in a car, a basement, and indoors, and in school. When you get hit by lightning you would sure enough die. Shelter is very important so get there fast! When lightning forms you would never want to stay outside or in a pool. Lightning is very dangerous in lots of ways like the volts it has in it and the strength of it. A pool is a bad place because the lightning can hit it. Lightning can start fires and it also is strong enough to hurt and kill people. Lightning also helps nature by putting nitrogen in the ground by a lot of plants that need it. Plants are important because they give off oxygen.
