RSD Food Service
Research has shown a crucial relationship between nutrition and academic performance. We strive to offer quality meals to set our students up for daily success. Menus are planned to meet USDA specifications based on the Dietary Guidelines for Americans.
The Richland School District is one of the few public school districts in the state to retain its own bakery department, with fresh-baked rolls, pizza crusts, and cookies.
At RCPS and RCIS, we offer breakfast and lunch (with two options daily).
At RCHS, a daily breakfast is served. Lunch includes three options, each including a daily salad bar (students must utilize the salad bar or select a piece of fruit). See our Menu Calendar for more information about daily food options. For current meal prices, please see our Student Fees page.
Free and Reduced Lunch
Your child may qualify for the Free and Reduced Price School Meal Program. Applications for the Free and Reduced Price School Meal Program can be filled out anytime during the school year. You can find applications below or pick them up at any school office, or they can be mailed to you (call 608-649-HIVE to request). Instructions on completing the forms are also included below:
Note: Due to shortages in production plant staffing, delivery company staffing, and overall product availability, the Richland Food Service Department may be experiencing needed, last-minute menu changes. When these changes occur, the Food Service Department will aim to keep menu items similar to the planned meal when possible. While we will notify schools about any changes as soon as possible, please understand that some changes may occur with little to no notice. We appreciate your patience, and we are sorry for any inconvenience.
